An amazing goal by Jamie Miller celebrated the Reserves return to action after several weeks lay-off due to the weather; he lobbed the United ‘keeper from just inside their half, and insisted it was meant!

“The commitment and attitude of the lads was exceptional,” said assistant manager Andy Deeley. “Going 2-1 down really kick-started the team who felt some injustice in that position. I can’t praise them enough.
“Throughout the club the teams are doing well, and it is the co-operation between the managers that is the exciting thing here. Today, we had a large squad available and even then some others were not available, but we also have other players in mind and further signings are imminent.”
