Great Yarmouth Town Youth 6 Bungay Town Youth 0
Great Yarmouth under 18’s produced an excellent performance under the guidance of stand in manager Paul Tong. With regular manager Ian Griffin away due to a family bereavement it was up to the first team manager to temporarily take the hotseat against winless Bungay Town
It was one way traffic as the home side dominated from start to finish. Adrian Galetta opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with an excellent strike which Josh Trett equalled in the 36th minute to make the half time scoreline 2-0.
In the second half it was more of the same as Lee Roscoe continued his recent scoring run after good work along the left wing by Kieran Bartley in the 52nd minute, George Barnden scored a header after 67 minutes, and it was Kieran Bartley who scored the next goal, again a header, three minutes from time. There was still time for Eddie Short to follow up a shot in the box to make the final score a deserved 6-0.
